Within the scope of the “Türkiye-Japan Overseas Cooperation Conference” hosted by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Çalık Enerji signed a loan agreement with Japanese Credit Insurance organization NEXI and Deutsche Bank.
Delivering the opening speech of the conference, Ahmet Çalık, Chairman Çalık Holding and also DEIK Türkiye - Japan Business Council, said, “Today, within the scope of our Business Council activities, we are conducting this program of Overseas Cooperation, which will take the Turkish and Japanese partnership to the next stage with the contributions of our countries' valuable institutions NEXI, JETRO and Turkish Eximbank.”
Stating that the Çalık Group is proud to be a part of this cooperation, Çalık said: “I believe that we need to increase our bilateral trade volume of Dollars 6 billion as soon as possible. At this point, I invite the Japanese business world to invest more in Türkiye, considering the strong and capable workforce of our country. I sincerely believe that we will realize much stronger and more permanent projects as Türkiye and Japan, and I thank NEXI for their trust and support for our country's economy.”
Following the opening speeches, Çalık Enerji, NEXI and Deutsche Bank signed a loan agreement.
The funds provided under the loan agreement signed between Çalık Enerji, NEXI and Deutsche Bank are planning to be used in renewable energy investments, energy transformation and digital transformation.
