Çalık Enerji, one of the group companies of Çalık Holding, will consider a resource in the amount of TL150m, generated from the successful bond issuance, in financing of new energy investments upon the strong demands from investors.
Being the largest energy contractor in Turkey and one of the leading companies in the global market, Çalık Enerji realized a bond issuance of TL150m with the assurance of Çalık Holding. For the bond issuance, Çalık Enerji cooperated with Ünlü&Co, a company of investment banking and assest management. One of the leading energy companies of Turkey, Çalık Enerji operates in turnkey installation projects of infrastructure, electricity and gas distribution, electric energy generation and sales, oil and natural gas production, transfer and trade with over 4000 employees.
The bond issuance in the amount of TL150m for two-year term marks the first TL bond issuance of Çalık Enerji. Annual compound rate of return was 11.4422 percent according to the interest rate determined for the first coupon payment of bonds. The income generated by the bond issuance will be considered for new energy investments of Çalık Enerji.
In a statement made by Çalık Holding regarding the performance of bond issuance, it is said: "Performing strategic investments in power systems and oil-gas industries in Turkey and in the world, growing with a fast acceleration since its foundation and having a reliable and strong financing structure, our company Çalık Enerji aimed to introduce itself in the capital markets with this bond issuance and the capital markets in return have responded very well to it. In the beginning, the issuance amount was determined as TL100m; but upon the strong demands from the qualified investors, we had to increase it by 50 percent to TL150m. Our company will continue creating important added values on behalf of our country with both its domestic and international activities and strategic investments."
