In 2009, he was appointed as the Deputy Undersecretary in charge of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Turkey’s Sherpa at G-20. He served as the Ambassador to Rome in 2011-2014 and Ambassador to Paris in 2014-2016. Starting his career in 1985 at the Cyprus Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara, Uras carried out various diplomatic missions abroad in Germany-Hannover, Cyprus, London, and New York UN, in addition to working at the Cyprus-Greece, Middle East, Europe, and NATO Departments in Capital. He served as Ambassador designate to Israel while residing in Ankara (due to the Mavi Marmara incident) between 2010 and 2011. Kerim Uras served as Turkish Ambassador to Greece between 2011 and 2016. In Ankara, he was appointed as Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Türkiye and Member of the Foreign Policy Board between 2016-2018. He served as Turkish Ambassador to Canada between 2018-2023 and retired from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kerim Uras has been working as Advisor to the Chairman at Çalık Holding as of 2023. He is married with 3 children.

Over 40 years of experience, he served as inspector and manager in Anadolu Bank between 1979 and 1987 and held senior management positions in Emlak Bank, both in Turkey and abroad in the Netherlands and in France, between 1987 and 1994. He has over 28 years of experience in mine development, feasibility projects, and operational management in Turkiye, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Thailand and other countries. Since 2025, Karamercan has served as Deputy General Manager at Lidya Madencilik, responsible for projects, finance, ESH, sustainability, and legal affairs. As of August 1, 2025, he has been appointed as General Manager of Lidya Madencilik.

Additionally, he holds prominent positions in business councils, serving as Vice President of the DEİK Turkmenistan Business Council, DEİK China Business Council Executive Board Member and Founding Board Member of the Turkey-China Chamber of Commerce.

Born in 1964, Bilal Aslan graduated from the Department of Economics at the Istanbul University. After his graduation, Aslan established his own office and started his business life as a Financial Advisor. Aslan assumed the position of Deputy General Manager of İGDAŞ in 1995. After this 7-years duty, he worked as BELBİM Deputy General Manager. Thereafter, he moved to the private sector and worked as a senior executive in various sectors. In 2007, he served as General Manager at İGDAŞ, while he was serving as the Head of Financial Affairs Group of Main Media (Sabah-ATV). Following this duty, he served as İSPER General Manager, AKFEL Holding's Board Chairman and CEO, respectively. Aslan took part in the establishment of Üsküdar Akaryakıt A.Ş. and continued his business life as Co-Founder and Board Member of the company. Born in 1974 in Konya, Akşam is a graduate of Electrical-Electronics Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. He started his career in the private sector in 1998 and joined the public sector in July 2000 where he served at the Bursa Head Office of TEDAŞ General Directorate as İnegöl Operation Director, Osmangazi Operation Director and Customer Services Engineer/Chief Engineer respectively. Following its privatization in September 2010, the organization was renamed as Uludağ Elektrik Dağıtım A.S. and Arif Akşam served as Customer Services Manager, Assistant General Manager in charge of Retail Sales Services, and General Manager in the new organization. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as Assistant General Manager at BISEN Elektrik Satış A. Ş. before joining YEPAŞ as Retail Sales Coordinator on 1 August 2016. Arif Akşam has been serving as General Manager, YEPAŞ since February 1, 2018.
