Ahmet Çalık Foundation Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with ITU
Comprehensive Data Analytics Training Program Launched
The Ahmet Çalık Foundation has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Istanbul Technical University (ITU) to strengthen Türkiye's technological capabilities. The newly launched advanced data analytics program aims to train a new generation of specialists for the data-driven business landscape of the future.
Established in 2021 to create value in the fields of education, science, technology, social services and health, the Ahmet Çalık Foundation has partnered with Istanbul Technical University to launch a comprehensive training program in advanced data analytics. Designed within the scope of this collaboration, the program seeks to equip young talent with competencies in data analysis, data visualization and AI-supported evaluation. The protocol for the program was signed at a ceremony held at ITU, attended by ITU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ahmet Çalık Foundation.

Commenting on the matter, Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ahmet Çalık Foundation, said, “Digital transformation has moved beyond technology to become a strategic process that fundamentally shapes our way of thinking, our understanding of production and our approaches to the future. Participants to develop hands-on projects using real datasets
Final-year students and recent graduates from designated engineering faculties applied to the program. Candidates selected through an AI-powered evaluation model will receive training in groups of 40. The program will be delivered online by instructors from the ITU Continuing Education Center (ITUSEM). Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to develop hands-on projects using real datasets provided by group companies. The program is offered free of charge, and those who successfully pass the final proficiency exam will receive a certificate of achievement.
