As destructive wildfires rage around Turkey, Çalık Holding has contributed to Turkey’s reforestation efforts by initiated by TEMA (the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion). Çalık Holding participated in the campaign by donating 40,000 saplings on its 40th year.
After large tracts of forest were damaged by wildfires that broke out simultaneously in many regions of our country, Çalık Holding took part in the reforestation campaign initiated by the TEMA Foundation to reforestation Turkey and heal the wounds.
In order to alleviate the damage caused by forest fires and reforest the damaged areas, Çalık Holding announced that it will be donating 40,000 saplings to TEMA Foundation.
Alongside the Group companies that have been working in sustainability in recent years, Çalık Holding itself will announce its first Sustainability Report this year.
Çalık Group, which commenced its activities in the textile sector in 1981 and continues its activities more than 30 countries and in 7 sectors, will organize events for its 40th anniversary in October 2021.
