Providing continuous support for young people getting ready for the business life, Çalık Holding hosted the Marketing Summit organized by Istanbul University's Business Club.
The young people to shape future's business world met marketing experts at Çalık Holding. Providing guidance for university students to create more deliberative choices in their career planning and prepare for business life, Çalık Holding hosted the "Advertising and Marketing Summit" organized by the Business Club at the School of Business Administration at Istanbul University, the one and only student club with an ISO Quality Certificate.
The big three comes together
Participant students met with executives from prominent firms in operating various fields including telecommunication, automotive, construction, and home appliances. The opening speech was made by Gaye Somuncu, Corporate Communications Manager at Çalık Holding, and Sinan Köksal, Head of Brand and Marketing at Turkuvaz Media Group, an affiliate to Çalık Holding. Mr. Köksal stated that as a pioneer company in visual and written media, the Group incorporates brands that lead the industry. "Sports marketing" was the center of attraction at the summit. The flagships of Turkish football Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş came together for the summit. GS Mağazacılık & Perakende A.Ş. General Manager Nurettin Kantarelli, FB Fenerium General Manager Aydın Kırman, and BJK Kartal Yuvası General Manager Harun Özdemir shared their experience and knowledge on sports marketing.
Construction to telecom
Another debate issue in the summit was interactive marketing and digital advertising. Erhan Adsan, Chairman of Digital Youth Agency, gave a speech on digital advertising and Birol Özcanlı, Chairman of Alaaddin Adwork Agency, gave another speech about the impact of advertising on marketing. Experts in marketing field shared their experiences . Other executives to give speeches were BMW Marketing Communications Manager Simay Alsan on automotive, BSH Profilo Marketing Manager Bahriye Bayraklı Tavukçuoğlu on home appliances, Vodafone Turkey Head of Brand and Marketing Strategies Bilge Çiftçi and Human Resources Specialist Eska Okuş on telecommunication, and Çalık Gayrimenkul Sales and Marketing Director Gonca Özgül on construction.
