Çalık Energy finalized the project of reinforcing the electric power infrastructure of the city of Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan. Having won 4 international awards, the project was put into service in “Paytagt (Capital) Control Center” following a ceremony.
The ceremony was opened by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedow and attended by Deputy Presidents, Ashkhabad Governor, Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan and other ministers.
Çalık Holding Chairman Ahmet Çalık, Çalık Energy Member of Board of Directors and General Manager Osman Saim Dinç, General Electric Europe, Russia Central Asia and Turkey President Ricardo Cordoba and Çalık Energy top managers along with many local and international guests also attended the ceremony.
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdi Muhammedow said that electric power played an important role in development and wellbeing of the country in the coming period. Berdimuhammedov emphasized on the country’s performance of realizing all reforms which were anticipated in the field of energy.
